A mechanic for assembly works (SMR) works in the shops of organizations involved in mechanical engineering and metalworking. This profession can be practiced by both men and women, but they mainly work on it. males.

Related professions, which are also owned by SMR, are a fitter for instrumentation and automatic devices, as well as a tool maker. The activity takes place in special workshops of institutions involved in mechanical engineering and working with metal, where it is possible to carry out locksmith and assembly work from the special parts provided for various devices, including complex ones: cars, tractors, motors, turbines and various machine tools.

First, the construction and installation work, using the necessary devices, adjusts, connects and fastens the intended product among themselves, and then tests it on special installations and, if necessary, adjusts it for further uninterrupted operation.

Ranks and characteristics of activity

Construction and installation work various difficulty levels. The right to this activity determines its tariff category. They are registered in the tariff-qualification reference book, the same for each enterprise. Today, there are categories 2 to 7:

General Provisions

This section of the document should contain official job title   according to the template prescribed in the manuals of workers' qualifications, accepted standards and the current staffing adopted at a particular organization. Also indicated here all requirements   to his necessary education, qualifications and accumulated working experience.

Requirements and Responsibilities

The most important point of this documentwhich should be spelled out in more detail. The list of duties depends on the type of enterprise on which SMR works and his immediate profession. The general lesson for all construction and installation works consists only in the assembly of parts of mechanisms and integral structures.

Other responsibilities depend on many factors. The main thing is a special point of the rules where the technological process and safety measures are prescribed, which must be observed during operation. Particular attention should be paid to it for construction and installation works of a high category, which must gradually follow its traumatic technological process.

  • installation of whole products or only their individual parts;
  • tuning and processing of units and parts;
  • testing of finished products on special machines;
  • elimination of errors that occurred during assembly;
  • balancing the main nodes of the assembled units;
  • securing all joints with a hydraulic press.
      Rights and Responsibilities

This part of the contract mainly involves general rights of the country's labor lawtherefore, only specific species accepted at the enterprise are often indicated here. The sections of responsibility are devoted to the rights of the employee, which are fixed by law.

Employers do not often introduce additional rights for their employees in the enterprise, but job descriptions often include following list:

  • the right to refuse activities that pose a danger to the life and health of SMR and other people;
  • the right to directly contact (including with written statements) to his immediate supervisor on all issues arising during the work process;
  • the right to inform his immediate supervisor about the failure of the mechanisms and, if possible, independently carry out measures to eliminate them.

Responsibility for violation of an employment contract is also the same in almost every organization, therefore it does not make sense to describe it in detail if there are no special paragraphs of the rules. Mentioned mainly of disciplinary, criminal and material liability in cases provided by law.

Qualifications and experience

SMR must have professional education. Requirements for him will be presented depending on the complexity of the necessary work that he is obliged to perform, that is, on his discharge. This section provides guidance on the work experience of construction and installation work.

There is only one rule: the higher the category is necessary for work in a specialty, the longer should be the length of service in it.

This paragraph of the instructions contains list of works, which must accurately perform construction and installation work at the enterprise. They directly depend on the category of the employee and are prescribed in the qualification characteristics of the ETKS SMR directory.

Accordingly, the higher the category, the more complex production tasks he must be able to fulfill and comply with all the production requirements specified in the instructions at a particular enterprise. The ETKS SMR directory is approved by the legislation of the country and is the same in all enterprises, large and small.

Assessment, working conditions, professional standard

The direct supervisor of the construction and installation work at this point of instruction:

  1. It assesses the labor activity of its employee, comparing the measured indicators with the functional ones.
  2. Prescribes the labor functions included in the professional standard for construction and installation work of the specified working rank, making up a functional map of the type of his professional activity. The development organizations of the selected professional standard for this paragraph of the instruction should be indicated here.
  3. Indicates the conditions of activity at the enterprise: describes the workplace, the mode of work and rest, occupational hazards, the need and frequency of business trips. Also here additional conditions of activity are prescribed that do not violate the rights of the employee in a single enterprise, corresponding to the concluded contract and other agreements, as well as other regulatory acts, non-disclosure of official and commercial secrets of the organization.

Post Relations

The СМР instructions stipulate direct interaction with other divisions of the enterprise and employees on it, from which it receives direct instructions or, on the contrary, transfers materials to fulfill the assigned tasks. Their composition and terms of transfer are registered.

The employee’s place in the organization, his superiors and subordinates, as well as shift workers during his absence from work for a good reason are indicated. High-level construction and installation works are often the heads of less experienced workers, and they themselves are subordinates of the head of the corresponding workshop where he works.

Must be negotiated   interactions of workers of different categories with units involved in the elimination of accidents, the prevention of dangerous situations and the elimination of the consequences of emergency.

In small organizations, the direct head of construction and installation work may be directly its head, as well as the deputy head of production. All this is negotiated in special subparagraphs of the job description SMR.

At the end of the job description of the mechanic assembly machine, the document on the basis of which it was developed should be indicated, as well as its name and the release date of both this document and the job description.

How to become a mechanic for mechanical assembly work? The answer to the question is in the video.

The activities of a locksmith are associated with the repair of equipment necessary to maintain basic human needs. These specialists are at all large enterprises.

This specialty is divided into narrow specializations:

  • plumbers;
  • toolmakers;
  • car mechanics;
  • mining equipment repairmen;
  • chemical repair technicians;
  • emergency repair fitter;
  • machine repair technicians;
  • general fitters, etc.

Locksmiths assemble mechanisms and ensure their quality work.

The word “locksmith” is an interpretation of the German word lock, and “repairman” is translated from French as a replacement. Previously, these workers were engaged in the replacement of locks. The most famous repairman in Russia was Lefty from the story of Leskov, who was able to skillfully shoe a flea.

What does a repairman do

The main functions are:

  • assembly of mechanisms;
  • markup;
  • replacement of mechanisms;
  • cutting
  • metal filing;
  • thread cutting;
  • scraping;
  • grinding in.
  • drilling, etc.

Any mechanisms and machines periodically fail, so a locksmith is needed in any production process. He carries out maintenance and overhaul of machine tools and machines, as well as carries out their installation and adjustment. Diagnostics of the technical condition of devices and apparatuses before starting work is carried out, the degree of wear of the equipment is determined.

When carrying out any repair work, a detailed plan is drawn up and, if necessary, drawings of parts requiring replacement are made. In the course of its activities, the repairman fills out the relevant documentation confirming interference with the operation of devices and mechanisms. This documentation is a legal document, its preparation requires care and meticulousness.

Also, a repairman makes devices that facilitate labor and increase its productivity. After repair, the equipment is tested, and only after that it is recognized as a worker. In case of failure of the production equipment, the locksmith must ensure its repair as soon as possible. The efficiency of the entire enterprise depends on the timely arrival of this specialist.

Traits suitable for the repairman profession

This profession does not require excessive expenditure of physical strength. To work with pleasure, you need to love your work, so people who are interested in technology and machines will find themselves in this specialty. Likewise, a fitter should have an accurate eye, resourcefulness, tenacity, perseverance, accuracy, punctuality, well-developed fine motor skills of hands, imaginative memory and spatial imagination, and many other qualities useful for work.

Since this specialization covers a fairly wide area of \u200b\u200bactivity, the representative of this profession should have in-depth knowledge relating to all areas of his professional activity. Before doing repairs, you need to know the structure and principle of operation of technology, and this is possible only by studying the fundamental laws of physics.

Safety during the repair should be strictly observed to eliminate the threat to the life and health of the employee. To understand the operation of a device, you need to be well-versed in the schemes of its operation. During routine inspections of equipment, it is required to warn of possible breakdowns in certain places, which is done by a repairman.

Why choose the profession of a repairman?

Every year more and more complex mechanisms and machines appear in the world. Their service requires professionally trained workers, so the number of jobs will only increase. Competent specialists will be provided not only with a prestigious job, but also with a decent salary. In carrying out his work, you have to use a wide variety of tools, so the locksmith has the skills to work with any toolkit.

What are the disadvantages of the profession of a repairman?

To become a locksmith, you need to get a secondary vocational education. To do this, just graduate from college or college. The shortage of these specialists has led to the fact that a large number of colleges began to teach students in this direction. To work, you need to have deep theoretical knowledge and, most importantly, practical skills. Only in the course of work can all the material studied be consolidated. The more a locksmith is engaged in his professional activities, the more experienced he becomes. During the training, it is mandatory to undergo practical training, where all acquired skills are honed.

Working conditions of a locksmith

You will have to work indoors, but sometimes you need to do work outdoors. must be equipped with tools and measuring instruments. Also, depending on the field of activity, the presence of machine tools, workbenches and other devices is possible.

The following tools should be available: scissors, file, chisel, locksmith hammers, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, hacksaws and much more. Work clothes should be provided to the specialist. In summer, overalls and special protective gloves are used, in winter these are warm trousers and a jacket.
  Health risks.

There are a number of adverse factors that poorly affect the health and general well-being of a locksmith. These include a long stay in an uncomfortable position, since many manipulations have to be performed in a limited space. In this regard, often there are diseases of the musculoskeletal system, manifested by pain in the back and joints, deformation of the fingers. The cardiovascular system suffers and the likelihood of developing hypertension is high.

When working with equipment, a very intense noise and vibration occurs, which is fraught with hearing impairment. To prevent the development of hearing problems, special headphones are used that reduce the sound intensity. Long hard work can cause the development of myopia. To protect your eyes from dust, use transparent glasses. When working, harmful substances are released, which in the future can lead to occupational lung diseases. Using a mask solves this problem.

Mechanical assembly fitter is a difficult profession, and not everyone is able to master it. The reason is that future specialists will have to study the structure of many mechanisms, and this requires an innate talent for memorization. In addition, the mechanic for assembly works must have the ability to cancel endurance and strength, because the specifics of the work will repeatedly force you to encounter heavy parts and mechanisms.

And yet, one who has mastered this specialty can be sure that he will have a decent job. After all, locksmiths are always needed in enterprises, especially highly specialized ones.

Who is a fitter?

This branch of specialists is engaged in the assembly of mechanisms and devices. In particular, it is they who install various kinds of turbines, motors, nozzles, heating units and so on. If we compare an ordinary locksmith with his mechanical assembly colleague, the second is different in that it has more in-depth knowledge in the field of mechanics.

If at ordinary enterprises there is no special need for such specialists, since an ordinary locksmith can fulfill their obligations, then at factories for the production of various equipment they are simply irreplaceable. Especially where they create high-tech mechanisms and assemblies that require increased attention in manufacturing.

How to become a mechanic for mechanical assembly work?

You can get a locksmith qualification at a technical school or college. Upon admission, you will need to pass an exam in physics and mathematics. You cannot call them simple, so you should prepare in advance, and if necessary, hire a tutor.

Another way is to get an apprentice to an experienced specialist. After several years of such training, you will turn out to be a real mechanic of mechanical assembly work. The responsibilities of the apprentice exclude operations of increased complexity, so you should not count on full payment. But still, given that this is only a stepping stone to the desired profession, such a distribution of the budget can be tolerated.

Search for a suitable job

Finding a job as a mechanic will not be difficult, because they are necessary at any enterprise. Remuneration will depend on the size of the organization and the responsibilities that will lie on the shoulders of a locksmith.

As for the search for vacancies in the specialty "mechanic assembly works", then everything is more complicated. Indeed, in small enterprises there is no need to categorize locksmiths, and no one will pay extra for highly specialized education.

Therefore, it would be wiser to look for work in large enterprises. Here, modernization of machinery and equipment is constantly being carried out, which means that the services of a fitter will be relevant. Also, do not forget about the factories that manufacture machine tools, various kinds of tools, units and so on.

If there is nothing suitable, then you can get a job with related specialization. For example, a mechanic for monitoring automation or a toolmaker.

What is the responsibility of a mechanic assembling?

A lot in the future profession depends on the particular production chosen. After all, it is one thing when a person works at a car factory, and the metal rolling industry is quite another. Nevertheless, it is possible to bring certain parallels.

Locksmith duties have the following:

  1. First of all, a locksmith must be able to work with various mechanisms: assemble them on the basis of drawings, customize parts, configure and check for suitability.
  2. Also, the duties of a locksmith include repair. Firstly, he is responsible for the serviceability of his manufactured products. Secondly, he is obliged to repair all the mechanisms on his site in order to prevent production downtime.
  3. Regardless of the type of production, he must obey superior management.

Job description locksmith mechanical assembly work

Upon entering work, each locksmith must sign a series of documents. Among them there is an instruction of a mechanic assembling works. It just indicates all the duties and rights of this worker.

The job description of a mechanic for assembly works is a set of rules, and it is strictly forbidden to violate them. In general, such a document can be divided into four large sections.

  1. The main provisions. Here are the requirements for the employee in need: a list of necessary documents, his position in the workplace, at whose disposal he will be located, and so on.
  2. Tasks and responsibilities. A list of all operations that a specialist will have to perform in the specified production.
  3. Rights. A list of what a locksmith should do: the length of the working day, the presence of lunch, and the like.
  4. A responsibility. This paragraph outlines all situations that could entail financial punishment.

Mechanical Assembly Worker: Discharges

There are 5 tariff categories. The youngest is the second, the eldest is the sixth. For admission to work of increased complexity, you must have a rank of at least 5th.

Naturally, the higher the rank, the greater the chances of finding a well-paid job. Nevertheless, the mechanic of assembly works is a profession where experience is most valued, not a diploma. Therefore, it is likely that the first 2-3 years will have to work in a small enterprise and only then apply for more promising vacancies.
